BUSINESS BACKGROUNDThe company history originates from an enterprise with nearly four decades of experience in Thai coconut business. Merit Food Products (MFP) was established in 1993 to manufacture and export high-quality canned coconut products. Supported by the raw material from the enterprise-owned organic coconut farm, MFP is supplying the coconut milk / cream, and coconut drinks with the 3Fs reliability; from Farm, through Factory, and to your Fork. Locating on the Eastern Seaboard Zone, MFP factory and organic farm are only 70 and 230 kilometers from the capital of Thailand (Bangkok) , respectively. THE ORGANIC FARMCovering an entire valley, MFP organic coconut farm is the biggest of its kind ever owned by a single owner in the country. It supplies millions of fresh organic coconuts each year, and provides a solid raw material advantage to MFP. This farm has been certified as an organic farm in compliance with ACO, EEC Regulation 2092 / 91, IFOAM, JAS, and USDA NOP. These achievements grant MFP as the only manufacturer and exporter of organic canned coconut products in the region who holds the organic certificates as both the producer (farm) and the processor (factory) . THE FACTORYMFP factory is equipped with a modern processing line to ensure the highest food standard. The principle of GMP, HACCP, and EEC organic processor certificate 2092 / 91 are applied in every step of its manufacturing process. Mfp generates most of its revenue through export sales worldwide. The location close to Thailand's newest port, Laem Chabang port, facilitates on-time delivery from MFP second to none.
